The Ambassador of France in India visits TARA Girls
On 31 January 2024, TARA Girls had the honour of welcoming Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India, for a visit with the children and the team.
31 January 2024 marked a special moment at TARA Girls as we had the privilege of hosting Thierry Mathou, Ambassador of France to India, accompanied by his wife and a political advisor.
During the visit, the Ambassador met with the children and the TARA team, taking time to explain his role and responsibilities and to discuss the importance of international cooperation in supporting child protection initiatives.
Recognising child protection efforts in Delhi
This visit highlighted the work carried out by TARA to protect, educate and empower vulnerable children in Delhi through residential care, outreach programmes and educational support.
Every day, TARA teams work to provide a safe environment, access to education and personalised support that helps children build confidence and independence.
